Important information from PTA!

Please read the following message from our PTA!

Good Morning Park Parents!

We are still working on getting emails from parents, but it has been a bit of a struggle!  We would greatly appreciate it if you could share the following with your parent email lists, or on your blogs.  Thank you so much for your help!

We need volunteers for our Fall Festival on October 6th. There are lots of different opportunities!

If YOU have not signed up in Membership Tool Kit, please do so TODAY!  Just follow this link and you can do it in a few minutes.  REMEMBER, this is the ONLY way to receive the electronic communications from the school PTA to know what is happening at the school!

4th and 5th grade Room Parents - Teacher Appreciation is THIS FRIDAY - Please check out and share this link to sign up to help with breakfast and lunch (providing food or participating)

One more thing...this Friday is Picture day and we could use a few hands to help - it's an easy job and gives you an opportunity to see lots of the kids!

Thanks again and have a great week (and restful break!!)

Classroom Behavior:
We will be implementing a new behavior information sheet in our classroom. Instruction time is very precious and we need your support to make sure that your child is being on their best behavior. If your child receives one of the behavior sheets, it will be stapled inside their agenda. Please discuss your child's behavior with them. It is extremely important that we have your support with this!!!!

The secret word this week is SNICKER-DOODLES. Please have your child tell us the secret word for 10 Class Dojo points! The class winner will be announced next week!

As always, let us know if you have any questions or concerns.

Week of 9-11-17

Welcome back from a CrAzY long weekend! We hope this finds you and your family safe and well!

This week we will begin our IOWA testing. Due to hurricane Irma, we will begin testing on Thursday, September 14th. Testing will continue until Tuesday, September 19th. Please make sure that your child is here on time! It is very difficult to make this test up and puts extra stress on your child if they miss it!

In addition to testing, this week we will continue with division in Math, Esperanza Rising in Reading, types of sentences in grammar, and Pangaea in Science. We will also touch on September 11th and what that day means for our country.

The secret word this week is IRMA! Have your student tell us the secret word for 10 Class Dojo points!
